The beats are always the easy part, it is always the middle men or getting aligned with the right individuals who are able to work. I have learned so much about working with people in the last year and a half. Being under the headphones, you can just be used to working on the machine of your choice, (which requires communication with your hands by pressing buttons, strumming melodies or whateva) Working with people is a pretty new experience as far as business collaboration. But I am still learning, im not boss hogging it yet. I encourage all producers to get out there and meet people, (I know you're use to being on the machine so you dont have to talk to many people) but networking is just as important if not more important than the music. I was told that from a colleague a while ago, and I looked at him like (what are you talking about) but most of the placements I have gotten has been on having a certain network/relationship with people. Well I guess my colleague was right.
Meeting with 3 great artist tomorrow to network so keep grinding peace.
